Case in point, last night's climbing session. I tweaked my back, [livejournal.com profile] kickaha tweaked his shoulder, and neither of us was particularly energetic or focused anyway. Did a few 5.7s, and cut it a bit short.

Sample size is probably still too small to draw this kind of conclusion, but I've noticed that when one of us is down, we both tend to be, and I suspect a bit of feedback is going on. Nothing profound or pa-sykik, probably just that when one of us is having a rough time, the other one gives himself permission not to press as hard, but when one of us is really on, it's a challenge to the other guy to try and keep up.
