At least eight high school girls in Gloucester, Mass. entered into a "pregnancy pact". The father of at least one of the babies is "a 24-year-old homeless guy".

Say what you will about teaching abstinence versus providing birth control, or the morals and/or intelligence of the girls involved in this, this, I can't even think of a word, but the *real* problem is that now, lots of guys are going to become homeless in an attempt to score some of that sweet high-school booty.

As if our economy weren't in enough trouble as it is. :/

Challenged by gwyneira, here is my list:

1. Open your music collection and set the songs to shuffle/random.
2. Take the first 25 and write the first line or two from each.
3. Have people guess the songs.
4. Strike them out as people guess.

I skipped the songs that contain their title in the first line or two (or are otherwise obvious--frex, "They'll stone you when you're trying to be so good / They'll stone you just like they said they would"), and also songs that came up for gwyneira.

Also, there aren't all that many folks who read my blog, so if you know somebody who might enjoy it, why not send them my way?
