I just got seven DW codes, which allow you to create an account at Dreamwidth.

Dreamwidth is a web-journal community that uses the same open-source software as LiveJournal, but which is not currently owned by a Russian guy who has shown more interest in his corporate profits than in the privacy rights of his customers.

So if you're interested in starting a web journal, or in moving your journal from LJ to someplace more customer-friendly, let me know, because I can totally hook you up. (Basic Dreamwidth accounts are ad-supported and thus free to you.)
Case in point, last night's climbing session. I tweaked my back, [livejournal.com profile] kickaha tweaked his shoulder, and neither of us was particularly energetic or focused anyway. Did a few 5.7s, and cut it a bit short.

Sample size is probably still too small to draw this kind of conclusion, but I've noticed that when one of us is down, we both tend to be, and I suspect a bit of feedback is going on. Nothing profound or pa-sykik, probably just that when one of us is having a rough time, the other one gives himself permission not to press as hard, but when one of us is really on, it's a challenge to the other guy to try and keep up.
